Collecting car for demolition with COBRA KR

We often talk about scrap in its broad sense.

It’s that precious ferrous and non-ferrous scrap that recycling companies collect and transform into secondary raw materials.

It is an increasingly vital cycle for the survival of the planet and the sustainability of our economic growth.

But those who deal with scrap often also collect and recover also end-of-life vehicles: cars, commercial vehicles or industrial vehicles which are at the end of their life cycle.

From this precious collection you don’t recover only aluminum, steel and other metals, but also plastic, tyres, raee and many other materials.

Also in this case operators’ job is very important and our task is to make this work as simple and efficient as possible.

This is why our semi-trailers body is straight inside (not folded sides!).

The importance of having straight sides is in fact particularly important for those who, like car recyclers, have to load large scraps.

These bulky loads could be delayed if the sides inside the body are not-straight, because they can make the loading and unloading of the material more complicated.

In addition to this important feature, another possibility which is particularly appreciated in the crane installed onto the semitrailer.

In this small photographic report, received by one of our customers – whom we thank 🙂 – you can see how Cobra KR is suitable to host vehicles to be scrapped, by loading them directly with the crane installed on board.

The semi-trailer with crane, a flagship product in Gervasi Ecologica production, allows you to load these materials directly on site thanks to the special polyp grab.

Then the high-strength steel chassis and the robust XAR / Hardox 450HB body guarantee strength and durability of this vehicle.

And if you watch the video on our YouTube channel (https://youtu.be/roj7mQ0mBtA) you will understand why the semitrailer sturdiness is so important! What shots with that crane!
