On March 18th an important day is celebrated all around the world: the day dedicated to Recycling as essential choice to safeguard the future of our planet.

BIR (Bureau of International Recycling) strongly wanted this day to raise awareness on the value of recycled materials, an essential resource that BIR defines as the seventh world resource after water, air, coal, oil, natural gas and minerals.

GERVASI ECOLOGICA supports the Global Recycling Day with all its commitment and generally promotes the recovery of all recyclable materials to achieve a more sustainable economic model, respectful to the quality of life and environment.

To do that, in addition to promote values of recycling and sustainability, we strive to ensure that the related processes are increasingly supported and facilitated by suitable work tools and, more specifically, innovative solutions for the transport and collection of scrap and waste.

In order to achieve significant results, it is fundamental that everyone offers a quality contribution in its own field, strongly supporting research and working for the excellence, so that the collection of recyclables can be more and more widespread and efficient, to better feed the recycling cycle up to the transformation of scrap into secondary raw material and return them to the steel and manufacturing industry.

On the website dedicated to the Global Recycling Day there is a beautiful page dedicated in particular to steel, of which we want to quote an extract “From the smallest razor blades to telling the time, and from preparing food to creating architecture for our cities’ sky lines, this is a material which lasts. Where other materials come and go and reach a point of no return, this king of materials stands the test of time”. Steel is indeed a marvelous and fascinating material for its composition and its countless uses: it’s in fact among the most recycled materials in the world thanks to its incredible ability to be reborn and always surpass itself.

And right within the recycling cycle of steel and metals, GERVASI ECOLOGICA proposes its own significant contribution of products, service and innovation. A commitment at 360 degrees which we carry on with passion and enthusiasm.

We therefore invite everyone to support the Global Recycling Day on March 18th, and to promote every day the values and concrete objectives that this day brings with it.
